In Vedic Astrology, there are three types of core Charts.
- The Birth Chart – It is the main chart of your horoscope. It shows us the exact position of planets at the time of our birth.
- The Moon chart – The Moon chart essentially sprouts from our birth chart, as it is created from the birth chart itself. The Moon chart is basically reading the birth chart from the position of Moon in the birth chart by keeping it in the 1st house.
- The Sun Chart – The Sun chart is also made from the birth chart itself and similar to the Moon chart, we create the Sun chart by reading the birth chart from the position of Sun and placing it in the 1st house.
Business in Astrology is chosen through the 7th house and 10th house, however, in order to choose our business, we have to first select which chart we should consider. The 10th house in Vedic astrology represents the type of career one may go towards to, and the 7th house determines the affiliation to business and success in business.
Since there are three birth charts, we have look at which chart is stronger. Then we make the choice for the business by reading through the strongest chart.
How do we know which chart is strongest?
The strength of a chart can be determined by first analyzing what degree the Lagna is in, then, we also check at what degree the Moon and the Sun is. If supposing, Sun has the strongest degree, then we choose the Sun chart for choosing our business.
Here’s a quick summary of planetary strength in degree:
- 0 – 6 Degrees – Very Weak
- 6 – 12 Degrees – Weak
- 12 – 24 Degrees – Strongest
- 24 – 30 Degrees – Weak
So, if Sun is between 12 to 24 degrees, while Moon and your Lagna are below 6 degrees, then it means that your Sun Chart has the highest strength. Therefore, you should choose your business through the Sun Chart.
Similarly, if Lagna has the highest degree, then Business should be chosen based on the Lagna or Birth chart.
According to our Ancient Rishis, here’s how the choice of Business must be made:
- One should check the planet that is sitting in the 10th house of the strongest chart. Business choice should be made on that planet which is sitting in the 10th house.
- While, one should ignore the Rashi or Zodiac sign of the 10th house, if there is planet on it.
- However, if there are no planets in the 10th house of the strongest chart, then one should note the Zodiac sign ruling the 10th house.
- Then one should check the lord of the 10th house of the strongest chart and see the placement in Navamsha or D9 chart. Which ever house, the 10th lord planet is placed in D9 chart, the lord of that house becomes the choice of business for the native.
Lets take a look at a sample birth chart and analyze the planets and houses.
This is a Birth chart of an individual who has his Lagna at 29 Degrees. His Sun is in the 2nd house at 16 degrees and Moon is at 6 degrees.
From the chart strength, his Sun chart seems to have the highest strength as it is between 12 to 24 degrees, therefore, we will take his Sun chart to analyze the choice for his business. In the birth chart, his 10th house is ruled by the planet Sun. Sun is in the 2nd house indicating a yoga for family business.
Now lets take a look at the Sun chart:
In the Sun chart, the 10th house is ruled by the Zodiac Sign Virgo who’s lord is Mercury. However, there are no planets in the 10th house.
This means that we have to check the position of Mercury in the Navamsa Chart or D9 Chart. As here we have to take consideration of the 10th house lord in D9 chart. Then look at which house Mercury is posited in the Navamsa chart and who is the lord of that house.
Now lets check the position of Mercury in the D9 or Navamsa Chart.
In the Navamsa Chart, Mercury is posited in the 4th house in the sign of Sagittarius, who’s lord is Jupiter.
Therefore, the best business for the person to get into will be that of businesses related to the planet Jupiter. These include, business related to education, books, knowledge, professor and teaching.
Similarly, if Venus is posited in the 10th house in the Birth chart, the native can do businesses related to clothes, hotel business, luxury related businesses, business involving women products and so on.
However, if there are no planets in the 10th house of the birth chart or any chart, then we must check the position of the lord of the 10th house of Birth chart or other two charts(incase if strength is more) in the Navamsa chart and then, chose the business according to the house lord.
Business According to Planets in Astrology
